On August 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City held a press conference on the 1st National Motorcycle Championship for the Caltex Havoline Cub Prix Cup in 2025 - Stage 3 in Can Tho City, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The tournament is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City in coordination with the Vietnam Bicycle - Motor Sports Federation and Minh Thi Trading - Service - Construction Company Limited.
The 1st Caltex Havoline Cub Prix National Motorcycle Championship, 2025 - Stage 3 will take place at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at Can Tho Stadium.

Stage 3 took place in Can Tho City with the participation of 60 athletes from clubs from many provinces and cities nationwide. The competition content has 3 categories, including: 4-stroke 150cc (professional category), 2-stroke YAZ 125cc (professional category) and 2-stroke SUZUKI Sport 120cc (amateur category).
The organizers will divide the competition into groups. Each group consists of 3 or 4 athletes, and from there, the first and second place athletes from each group will be selected to compete in the next round. From the qualifying round to the semi-finals, each group will have no more than 2 athletes from the same team or group meeting each other. The competitions will begin at 2 p.m. on September 2 at Can Tho Stadium.
The total prize money for stage 3 is 100 million VND. Before awarding the prizes, the organizing committee will conduct a second stage technical inspection for the first, second, third and fourth ranked cars. If there are any violations, the results will be canceled and the next rankings will be considered for cars that meet the regulations.
In particular, the achievements at the tournament are the basis for the organizing committee to upgrade the athlete competition system from 2026. Accordingly, the athletes who won first place in the professional category of 4-stroke 150cc and first place in the amateur category of 2-stroke SUZUKI SPORT 120cc will compete in the professional category of 2-stroke YAZ 125cc at the 2026 National Championship Motorcycle Racing Cup at Can Tho Stadium.
