China and Vietnam Coast Guards Start Exchange Program on August 27

Welcoming the delegation at the airport, on the side of the Vietnam Coast Guard, there was Colonel Le Huy - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Coast Guard and representatives of the relevant agencies. In an atmosphere of camaraderie, the Vietnam Coast Guard gave the delegation of senior officers of the Chinese Coast Guard their warmest affection, a respectful and thoughtful welcome.

As planned, on the morning of August 27, the Vietnam Coast Guard and the China Coast Guard held the opening ceremony of the Exchange Program. This is the first activity in the first Exchange Program on Party and Political Work between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the China Coast Guard in 2024.

The exchange program will take place from August 27 to 29. The exchange program is expected to include the following activities: Visiting the Mausoleum, visiting the Ho Chi Minh relic site and visiting the Chinese martyrs' cemetery; paying a courtesy call to the Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; attending a reception hosted by the Vietnam Coast Guard; visiting the Command of Coast Guard Region 1 and visiting ship CSB 8004/Flotilla 11, observing 1 party and political activity of the ship; attending a gala night of cultural and artistic exchange; visiting Ha Long Bay.
