The film, directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung, tells the story of Huy - a police officer who was promoted to the grassroots level during the period when the local government merged and streamlined the administrative apparatus. From here, the conflicts of the people and the seemingly simple village stories put the character in many "brain-weighing" situations, between reason and emotion, between public responsibility and personal constraints.

With you, that peaceful place not only realistically depicts the silent but stressful work of the regular police force in residential areas, but also reflects current issues such as deploying VNeID, fighting counterfeit goods, trade fraud, etc. All are conveyed in a simple, familiar way, imbued with the essence of Vietnamese rural life.

The cast includes many veteran names such as People's Artist Bui Bai Binh, Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy, Meritorious Artist Ba Anh, Meritorious Artist Quy Duong, Van Dung, along with young actors such as Gia Huy, Tuan Anh, Tuan Tu... In which, Tuan Tu plays the main role and said that this is the "most difficult role ever" in his career.

Sharing at the press conference, Meritorious Artist Le Manh - Acting Director of the Vietnam Television Film Production Center (VFC) - said that the film was made in the context that many localities are entering the process of administrative restructuring, with many potential disruptions at the grassroots level. The film delves into the hidden corners of rural life, reflecting the courageous, responsible and humane involvement of the people's police force.
The consistent message conveyed by director Nguyen Danh Dung and his crew is: " Resolve conflicts early, put out small fires to prevent big fires" - an action orientation close to the people, serving the people.
