Closing the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030

After 2 days of urgent, serious, democratic and highly responsible work, the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, completed the proposed contents.

The Congress focused on and frankly discussed the contents of the draft documents submitted to the Congress with many enthusiastic and responsible opinions. The contents of the discussions were rich, practical, deeply analyzed and evaluated in the fields of socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and political system building. Pointed out the limitations, shortcomings, causes and lessons learned; agreed with the assessment and forecast of the situation, identified more clearly the potential, advantages, opportunities and challenges of the province in the new period and the viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions to carry out the tasks of the next term. At the same time, delegates also discussed and gave opinions on the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term I, term 2025-2030 to promulgate and organize implementation immediately after the Congress.

On that basis, the Congress voted and unanimously approved the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, including the following contents: Political Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the term 2020-2025 submitted to the Congress, with general viewpoints and goals, 22 main targets, 6 key tasks, 3 breakthrough tasks and 12 groups of tasks and main solutions in each field of work; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the term 2020 - 2025; Report synthesizing comments from grassroots Party congresses, cadres, party members and people on draft documents of the Provincial Party Committee and documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is the important foundation and premise for the new term Provincial Party Executive Committee to strive to implement, determined to build Ca Mau - the southernmost province of the Fatherland, to develop comprehensively, confidently entering a new era with the whole country.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized: “The Resolution of the first Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, which was just voted and passed, is “a collective work”, built with the intelligence, enthusiasm, aspiration to rise up, and determination to innovate and create of the entire Party Committee, people and army of Ca Mau province. The core spirit of the Resolution is to use all measures and positive solutions to fully promote all resources, especially human resources, effectively exploit all potentials and advantages of the province to successfully implement the goals and tasks in the term 2025 - 2030.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that, immediately after the Congress, the new Provincial Party Executive Committee and Party organizations within the Provincial Party Committee should well organize the study and thorough understanding of the Resolution of the Congress; widely propagate the results of the Congress throughout the Party and the People; have specific action plans and programs to soon put the Resolution into practice; turn the Resolution into revolutionary action with new determination and new spirit.

Ca Mau is facing a great, historic opportunity to make a breakthrough in development, but also faces many difficulties, challenges, bottlenecks, and obstacles to development. Therefore, focusing on exploiting and effectively using potentials and distinct strengths; promptly grasping outstanding opportunities and having solutions to overcome difficulties and challenges, promptly removing bottlenecks to make a breakthrough in development, is the top priority requirement of the Party Committee in the coming term.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai called on all cadres, party members, soldiers and people of the province to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and creativity, upholding the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, training courage, improving intelligence, joining hands and hearts, striving to overcome difficulties and challenges, building an increasingly clean and strong Party organization and political system, determined to build Ca Mau province to develop comprehensively.
