Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Provincial People's Council; Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of Departments, branches, sectors, and Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards in the province.

After listening to the report, the Conference discussed and reached a high consensus on the expected structure, composition, and number of candidates for the 16th National Assembly as allocated by the National Assembly Standing Committee. Specifically, the total number of elected 16th National Assembly deputies is 17, of which 9 deputies reside and work locally, and 8 deputies are recommended by the Central Government.
For the 9 local delegates, according to the orientation structure, there will be 1 delegate who is a key leader, 1 full-time delegate, 2 delegates from the Veterans Association and 1 delegate who is an enterprise, association, or union in the field of production and business. According to the guidance structure, 4 delegates introduced by the locality will prioritize the following fields: Education , finance, culture and arts, and internal affairs. Regarding the combined structure introduced by the locality, there will be 9 ethnic minority delegates introduced as candidates; of which 11 are women; 1 is a non-Party delegate; 2 are young delegates (under 40 years old) and 5 are re-elected delegates.
The conference also listened to, discussed and reached a high consensus on the proposed structure, composition and number of candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term proposed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; at the same time, the consultation procedures were properly implemented according to regulations. Accordingly, the total number of elected Provincial People's Council delegates for the 20th term, 2026 - 2031 term is 85 delegates. According to the orientation structure, the number of delegates in provincial agencies is 52 (61.2%); delegates in commune-level administrative units are 30 (35.3%); delegates from other components are 3 (3.5%). The combined structure includes 44 re-elected delegates (51.8%); 25 female delegates (29.4%); delegates from ethnic minorities account for 20%; 9 young delegates (10.6%); There are 2 non-Party delegates (2.4%).
The structure, composition, and distribution of the number of people from political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, people's armed forces, state agencies in the province and commune-level administrative units, and other components running for the People's Council of Phu Tho province, term XX, 2026 - 2031, is 164 people.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Minh affirmed: The conference is of important significance, is the first step, creating a solid legal and political basis for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue implementing the consultation steps according to regulations, ensuring the selection of truly exemplary and worthy people, representing the will and aspirations of voters and people of Phu Tho province to run for the 16th National Assembly and the 20th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031. Regarding the content of candidacy for the Provincial People's Council, she requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to continue studying the structure and composition, ensuring harmony between agencies, units and fields.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Minh requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to urgently complete the minutes of the First Consultation Conference, send the proposed structure, composition, and agreed quantity to relevant agencies, organizations, and units before December 17, 2025 to serve as a basis for implementing the next steps.

Central agencies located in the area, administrative agencies, armed forces units, enterprises, socio-political organizations, social organizations and units allocated with quotas to introduce candidates must urgently organize conferences to collect opinions from voters at their workplaces to introduce qualified candidates according to the agreed number, structure and composition, to be completed no later than January 25, 2026.
The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to proactively coordinate closely with local agencies and units to guide and urge the organization of candidate introductions, ensuring the correct progress, correct procedures, and correct subjects.
