Legendary duo Secret Garden has arrived in Vietnam, ready for a special music night.

It is very special that Vietnam unexpectedly became the first destination in the world tour celebrating the group's 30th anniversary - the legendary duo Secret Garden excitedly shared with the press before the show on the evening of October 18 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi.

The program “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” is the 3rd concert within the framework of the international music project series for the community “Good Morning Vietnam” initiated and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam, after the success of 2 events “Kenny G Live in Vietnam” and “Bond Live in Vietnam”.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Head of the Program Steering Committee shared about the meaning of "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam".

Not only is it a bridge to bring world- class music to domestic audiences, the Organizing Committee of “Good Morning Vietnam” also wants to promote the image of Vietnam to the world through the MVs of international artists participating in the program. Like previous years, all revenue from ticket sales for the concert will be used for charity purposes - a humanitarian purpose maintained by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.

Secret Garden's performance in Vietnam will be based on three themes: nature; beautiful scenery, human relationships; culture. From the "wordless" melodies rich in imagery to the hybrid songs of classical, Nordic folk - Celtic, suitable for the sophisticated enjoyment space of Vietnamese audiences in the autumn days of Hanoi. Secret Garden said they were completely satisfied with the stage design "extremely suitable for our music" that director Pham Hoang Nam had taken care of for their performance at the National Convention Center, Hanoi.

The band gave the Organizing Committee a guitar to auction for charity.

At the press conference before the show, the two artists shared more about their three-decade journey together. In 1995, Rolf Løvland met Fionnuala Sherry by chance at a competition in Europe. They immediately felt a connection and chose to accompany each other as musical soulmates. Three decades later, more than 100 songs have been created, making Secret Garden famous with the message: "Music connects hearts, shares emotions".

They said they felt excited and happy to know that in Vietnam there are "die-hard fans" who have been following their music for the past 10-20 years. Secret Garden consists of 2 members, Fionnuala Sherry (female) and Rolf Løvland (male) founded in 1994. Over three decades, Secret Garden nurtured the love of global audiences through 12 albums, starting with Songs from a Secret Garden (1995) and most recently Songs in the circle of time (2024).

They once owned the best-selling albums of the Universal Classics & Jazz label with 113 platinum albums worldwide, more than 3 billion streams, 311 weeks on the Billboard New Age chart.... Their song You raise me up (2001) was performed by a series of the world's top singers and bands such as: Josh Groban, Westlife, Il Divo, Hauser...

“We always try to avoid being pigeonholed into certain genres. Secret Garden's music is our own, always starting with simple melodies and telling a story, mostly without words,” Fionnuala and Rolf share.

“Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” takes place at 7:30 p.m. on October 18, 2025 at the My Dinh National Convention Center, promising to be a night of music with many emotions on the stage of the capital Hanoi.
