As one of the localities heavily affected by the historic flood when the Cau River water rose due to the impact of storm No. 11, up to now, in Da Phuc commune, Hanoi , although the water has receded, people's lives have not been able to return to normal.
Recorded in Ngo Dao village, Da Phuc commune, after the flood, mud, garbage, fallen tree branches… were scattered in many places. Some roads were impassable.

The cleanup work encountered many difficulties due to the thick amount of mud, the large amount of garbage, tree branches, and floating objects that remained over a large area, while the weather was sunny and hot... However, with a sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers still made efforts, regardless of hardship, actively supported people in cleaning and clearing sewers, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation, preventing epidemics and helping people stabilize their lives soon.
Ms. Vu Thi Canh (Hamlet 4, Ngo Dao Village, Da Phuc Commune) said that with the enthusiastic help of officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police, people in the area have gradually stabilized their lives.
In Dong Ngan village (Da Phuc commune), officers and soldiers of various units continue to coordinate with local people to organize rice harvesting and cutting. According to Mr. Nghiem Huu Luan, Head of Dong Ngan village, it is expected that on October 17, rice will be harvested on an area of about 3 hectares.
