The exhibition is chaired by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, in coordination with relevant units, and is expected to take place in November 2025 in Rach Gia city, An Giang province.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that 100 to 150 large-scale propaganda paintings will be displayed, printed on plastic canvas (hiflex) with iron panel frames, creating a lively, intimate, and influential artistic space that will be introduced at the exhibition.
The exhibition is not only an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election - a milestone that opened the democratic era of the new Vietnam, but also an opportunity to widely propagate and educate the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the nation; arousing the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance and the desire to contribute in every citizen.
Through expressive pictorial language, the works will recreate the 80-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly accompanying the nation, from the early days of building the revolutionary government, the resistance war for independence, to the period of national construction, development and international integration.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to honor and pay tribute to generations of Vietnamese National Assembly deputies, who represent the will, aspirations and intelligence of the people; at the same time contributing to strengthening voters' trust in the National Assembly - the highest State power body, a symbol of democracy and national unity.
With its unique political, cultural and artistic values, the large-scale propaganda poster exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first General Election Day promises to be an important highlight in the series of commemorative activities, contributing to spreading patriotism, arousing national pride and the spirit of competition to achieve achievements to celebrate the country's major holidays.
