Attending the training session were representatives of the Director of the General Department of Electricity, the Association for Science and Technology of Energy Saving and Efficiency, along with experts from the Vietnam Journalists Association , Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation and nearly 100 reporters and editors from central and local press agencies.

At the training session, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade shared new contents in the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation, focusing on key policy groups such as: Energy efficiency and conservation is identified as a mandatory indicator in the socio-economic development plan of the country, provinces and cities. Continue to decentralize, reform administration, simplify procedures to increase the effectiveness of state management, avoid overlap, and improve implementation at local levels.

Developing energy service organizations (ESCOs) and incentive mechanisms to form a private energy service market, mobilizing social resources for green transformation. At the same time, establishing a Fund to promote the use of energy economically and efficiently (a state financial fund outside the budget, operating not for profit, not increasing costs for businesses), with the function of mobilizing, lending, investing, and accepting entrustment to support energy saving projects.
Supplementing regulations on energy labeling for construction materials - a step forward in controlling energy consumption in the construction industry, helping to save electricity from design, production to construction use.
Supplementing credit incentive mechanisms and green financial instruments to encourage businesses to invest in energy-saving technology, issue green bonds, receive green credits for technology transformation, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and innovate.
In addition to providing information, experts shared the topics "The role of the press in propagating the Law on economical and efficient use of energy (amended)", "Data storytelling skills and use of technical language in energy journalism".
