Construction industry production value reached more than 47,337 billion VND

(CT) - According to Can Tho City Statistics, the construction industry's production value in the city in the first 9 months of 2025 increased compared to the same period last year. The production value increased mainly thanks to projects to upgrade and expand provincial roads, rural roads and expressways passing through the city.

In the first 9 months of 2025, the city's construction production value is estimated at more than VND 47,337 billion, an increase of 13% over the same period last year. Of which, the enterprise type is estimated at more than VND 30,331 billion; other types including communes, wards, towns and households are estimated at nearly VND 17,006 billion. By type of construction, the value of housing construction is estimated at nearly VND 20,038 billion, an increase of 6.07% over the same period last year; non-residential construction is estimated at about VND 6,263 billion, an increase of 8.04% over the same period last year; civil engineering works are estimated at nearly VND 18,574 billion, an increase of 24.87% over the same period last year; specialized construction activities are estimated at nearly VND 2,463 billion, an increase of 5.77% over the same period in 2024.
