The Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, Cantho Eco Resort, and Hoang Minh Nhat Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation at the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, said that this is a joint effort to strengthen trade promotion, expand markets, and enhance brand value for agricultural products, especially OCOP products of the locality. In the context of deep international integration and the continuous development of the consumer market, finding stable and sustainable outlets for agricultural products is always one of the top priorities.
Truong Thanh commune possesses enormous potential in agriculture , especially in specialty fruit crops such as rice, durian, rambutan, star apple, and mandarin oranges. Over the past time, the commune has developed effective agricultural models and unique local products. Currently, the commune has 5 products that have achieved OCOP (One Commune One Product) status, including 3 products with 4 stars and 2 products with 3 stars.
At the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, Cantho Eco Resort, and Hoang Minh Nhat Joint Stock Company; and another Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tan Hiep Farm production facility, Tan Trung Thanh Cooperative; Dika Happy International Co., Ltd. and Cantho Eco Resort to support the connection and consumption of agricultural products from Truong Thanh commune.
