Connecting agricultural products and OCOP products of Truong Thanh commune to Can Tho ECO Resort

(CT) - On October 17, at Can Tho ECO Resort, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City organized a Conference on Connecting Agricultural Products and OCOP Products of Truong Thanh Commune to Cantho ECO Resort.

Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade, Cantho Eco Resort and Hoang Minh Nhat Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, said that this is a joint effort to strengthen trade promotion, expand markets and enhance brand value for agricultural products, especially local OCOP products. In the context of deep international integration and the constant development of the consumer market, finding stable and sustainable output for agricultural products is always one of the top priorities.

Truong Thanh commune has great potential in agriculture , especially in specialty fruit trees such as rice, durian, rambutan, star apple and orange. In recent times, the commune has developed effective agricultural models and local specialty products. The commune currently has 5 products that meet OCOP standards, including 3 4-star products and 2 3-star products.

At the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, Cantho Eco Resort and Hoang Minh Nhat Joint Stock Company and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tan Hiep Farm production facility, Tan Trung Thanh cooperative; Dika Happy International Co., Ltd. and Cantho ECO Resort on supporting connection and consumption of agricultural products of Truong Thanh commune.
