At about 8:30 a.m. on July 29, a 7-seat car was traveling on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway, heading towards Hanoi .

At Km 188, the car driver hurriedly got out to inform the traffic police that there was a child in the car with symptoms of biting his tongue, convulsions, and foaming at the mouth.

Applying his training experience, Captain Bui Chi Cong (officer of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department) used his thumb to prevent the child from biting his tongue.

Police continued to provide first aid on the spot, helping the child regain consciousness.

Then the commander of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 3 mobilized a specialized traffic police car to take the child to the Agricultural Hospital for timely emergency care.
