Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway: Multiple accidents near toll station

At around 8:00 p.m. on February 16, a series of traffic accidents occurred on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, in the direction from Phan Thiet to Ho Chi Minh City.

The accident caused severe damage to the vehicles, one vehicle flew off the highway.

Speaking to Thanh Nien reporters, a representative of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Team 6, Department 6 of the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said the accident occurred between 4 vehicles, including 1 passenger car and 3 cars. The accident occurred about 2 km from the toll station, in Cam My District (Dong Nai).

The accident happened in the direction of Phan Thiet to Ho Chi Minh City, about 2 km from the toll station.

At the scene, the vehicles were severely damaged, with many parts broken. A car was thrown off the highway. Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties. "The damage was mainly to property, with only minor injuries to people," an officer from Traffic Police Team 6 initially informed.

The accident caused traffic congestion on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway. After the accident, Traffic Police Team 6 was present to regulate traffic, investigate and handle the accident.
