There are 3 remaining locations in Phuoc Tan Ward (Bien Hoa City) that have been proposed by enterprises but have not been licensed. The first location has an area of about 85 thousand m3 of filled soil. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has surveyed and issued a written notice of approval for the proposing unit to conduct a survey, evaluate general information and submit a dossier for licensing. The second location is about 119 thousand m3. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has issued a notice of approval for the survey, evaluate general information and request the enterprise to prepare a dossier for licensing. The third location is about 429 thousand m3 . The Department of Agriculture and Environment is appraising the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for licensing of Group IV mineral exploitation.
In addition, after completing land lease procedures for quarries in the Tam Phuoc - Phuoc Tan quarry cluster, quarrying enterprises will recover about 1 million m³ of land to supply to the project.
Thus, the total volume of filling materials that the province can supply is more than 6 million m3, higher than the demand of more than 5.2 million m3 of the two projects Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City.
