Capcom releases Monster Hunter Rise patch for PS5

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên21/12/2024

According to GameRant , Capcom has just released a major update for Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation 5 that improves performance and fixes issues reported by the community. The game was originally released on the platform in early 2023, but players quickly noticed limitations related to frame rate and control responsiveness when compared to other platforms.

According to the patch notes, this update focuses on two main issues: optimizing the frame rate and reducing lag during large battles. On forums and social networks, many players have complained that the game often experiences sudden frame drops when there are too many monsters on the screen, interrupting the hunting experience. Capcom claims that the update will significantly improve these issues, especially when players choose Performance Mode to prioritize a stable frame rate of 60 FPS.

In addition to performance optimizations, the update also includes other minor fixes related to the control system. Previously, some players using the PS5 DualSense controller said they had difficulty performing complex combos or activating special skills. After the patch, the feedback from the controller has been adjusted to be smoother, helping to improve accuracy during combat.

Notably, this update was released shortly after the gaming community strongly protested on forums like Reddit and Twitter. A post on Twitter by Capcom confirmed that the development team took note of players' opinions and was actively working to improve the game.

While the update was praised for fixing the issue, some players still wanted Capcom to add new content to the PS5 version. Previous expansions like Sunbreak brought new monsters and features, but there has been no announcement of similar content updates in the near future.

Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, each with its own pros and cons. However, with this latest patch, the PS5 version is getting closer to the standard players expect.
