Patient NGK was admitted to the hospital with lower abdominal pain. Through examination and imaging, the doctor discovered a tumor about 3cm in size, with even edges and clear boundaries. Immediately afterwards, the hospital's General Surgery team quickly performed laparoscopic surgery to remove the tumor.
After nearly 1 hour of surgery, the tumor was successfully removed. The lesion was identified as Fibrosis – a benign lesion of the mesenteric tumor. Currently, the patient is recovering well, in stable health and will be discharged in a few days.
It is known that mesenteric tumors can occur at any age, most commonly in people aged 20-40, mostly in women, often with symptoms of dull abdominal pain, digestive disorders, sometimes pain spreading to the shoulder or spine. With malignant tumors, the patient may be tired, lose weight, have anorexia, and anemia.
