Both Vietnam and Indonesia lost their opening matches of the 2023 Asian Cup. Therefore, the decisive match between the two teams at 9:30 p.m. on January 19 is crucial. Only the winning team has the right to hope to win a ticket to the next round.
President of the Indonesian Football Federation Erick Thohir has urgently instructed the entire team to focus all their efforts to prepare for the match against the Vietnamese team. He called on the entire Indonesian team to learn the patriotic spirit of Coach Troussier's team.
The head of Indonesian football said: "I think the Vietnamese team is a difficult team to play against. Despite having seven injured players, they still led Japan 2-1. However, Japan still won that match because they are on a different level.
