Strange 1,700-year-old trident discovered, causing shock

In the ancient city of Assos, experts excavated a Roman iron trident, revealing a previously unknown mystery about ancient fishing.

“This is the first time we have found such materials in Assos, because iron tools are the fastest decomposing material over time, and are usually very scarce in ancient city excavations,” added Nurettin Arslan, a professor at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
