The contest is one of the key activities in the series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam (September 3, 1975 - September 3, 2025), jointly organized by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union and New Energy Magazine/PetroTimes. The contest is a practical knowledge playground, contributing to spreading pride in Petrovietnam's 50-year journey of sustainable development, accompanying the country. Through the contest, it also contributes to raising awareness and strengthening connections between generations of workers in the Industry - Energy sector.
Online test in 10 days, 100 interesting questions
The contest is held online on digital platforms such as: website congdoandaukhi.vn, fanpage of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union and New Energy Magazine. Contestants can participate using a computer or mobile phone with internet connection, access the contest software to answer pre-designed questions.
During the 10-day period (from 8:00 a.m. on July 28, 2025 to 12:00 p.m. on August 8, 2025), each day participants will answer 10 multiple-choice knowledge questions, a total of 100 questions related to the history of formation, development milestones, and outstanding achievements of Petrovietnam, the Group's Party Committee, and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union.
In addition to the main competition, the Contest also has an open question every day, asking contestants to predict the number of participants. This is an interesting highlight, requiring the contestants' acumen and analytical ability.
Each multiple choice question has 3 answers, the player chooses only one correct answer. After each day, the Organizing Committee will announce the answers of the previous day, ensuring transparency and creating interaction throughout the Contest. Each person can only participate in answering once/day.
Attractive prizes, total value up to nearly 300 million VND
To encourage the participation of individuals and groups, the Organizing Committee has built a diverse and rich award structure. In the collective award category, there is 1 First Prize worth 30 million VND, 2 Second Prizes - each worth 20 million VND, 4 Third Prizes - each worth 10 million VND and 10 Encouragement Prizes - each worth 5 million VND.
For individual prizes, there is 1 First Prize worth 15 million VND, 2 Second Prizes - each worth 10 million VND, 3 Third Prizes - each worth 5 million VND and 50 Encouragement Prizes - each worth 2 million VND. In addition, there are 3 daily prizes, each worth 6 million VND, awarded throughout the Competition.
The results will be announced on August 15, 2025, with the awards expected to be presented on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam's founding.
