Bola.Okezone (Indonesia) commented: "Many fans complain about the poor quality of the pitch in Vietnam. Meanwhile, the Indonesian team uses Gelora Bung Karno Stadium as their home ground. No one doubts the quality of this field.
Meanwhile, Iraq chose Basrah Stadium, which has a capacity of up to 65,000 people. This stadium looks like the Olimpico in Rome (Italy). Therefore, many Indonesian fans encourage Vietnam to change the venue for the matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Vietnamese team will begin the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup with a trip to the Rizal Memorial Stadium (Manila, Philippines) of the Philippines at 6:00 p.m. on November 16. This is a stadium with artificial turf and promises to cause many difficulties for the "Golden Dragons".
After the match against the Philippines, the Vietnamese team returned to their home stadium, My Dinh, to face the strongest opponent in the group, Iraq. This match will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 21.
