The tech mogul confirmed to CNBC that he married his boyfriend Mulherin but did not provide further details.
Photos that appeared on social media on January 11 (US time) showed the couple's wedding held at an undisclosed beach in San Francisco, US.
Only about 10 close relatives attended their wedding.
"Although CEO Alman owns assets of 500-700 million USD, the wedding with boyfriend Mulherin was organized very simply" - The Messenger page commented.

Mulherin was born in Australia and is a software engineer graduated from the University of Melbourne (Australia). He previously worked as a software engineer at Meta from August 2020 to November 2022.
The couple rarely go public about their relationship, so the public doesn't have much information about the couple, including how long they have been "in love".
In a rare disclosure last September, the OpenAI CEO said that the two were in San Francisco and were both looking forward to having children in the near future.
The couple's first public appearance was at a White House dinner in June 2023 hosted by President Joe Biden for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when the "father" of ChatGPT brought his boyfriend Mullherin as a guest.
Altman co-founded OpenAI in 2015 and served as CEO of the company behind ChatGPT from 2019 until November 2023, when he was unexpectedly fired by the board.
Altman was reinstated after more than 700 OpenAI employees signed a petition asking the board to reinstate him or else they would quit en masse.
