Market last week: Gold price increased quite high, gasoline price decreased sharply

Last week (from June 30 to July 4), gold prices increased quite a bit compared to the end of June. The buying price of SJC gold bars was 118.9 million VND/tael and the selling price was 120.9 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the prices of all types of gasoline and oil decreased sharply. The price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND1,085/liter, to VND19,445/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND1,210/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,906/liter. Similarly, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND941/liter, to VND18,408/liter; kerosene decreased by VND932/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND18,132/liter; and fuel oil alone decreased by VND1,148/kg, to VND15,807/kg.

At the first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), the prices of many types of food are quite stable. Specifically, pork belly costs 150-180 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet costs 280-300 thousand VND/kg, shrimp (type I) costs 180-200 thousand VND/kg, chicken eggs, duck eggs (type I) cost 24-35 thousand VND/dozen...
