On July 23, Ba Diem Commune Police, Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with relevant units to investigate the scene of a fire at the scrap warehouse of Le Viet Vang business household, causing 400/1,200m2 of the warehouse to burn and collapse, with more than 30 tons of scrap burned.

Earlier, a fire broke out at a scrap warehouse in an alley, surrounded by dozens of neighboring households, causing many residents to worry. The fire was mainly plastic, so the fire spread quickly.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team Zone 19 with nearly 10 vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

The communal police, militia, and local security forces also quickly went to the scene to stabilize the situation and help people evacuate their belongings to prevent the fire from spreading. By nearly 11 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished.

At the scrap warehouse scene, the brick walls, iron frame, and corrugated iron roof were burned and collapsed. The fire started at an electrical outlet in the bedroom of the warehouse caretakers.
