Dreams nurtured from a fishing village
Nearly a week after knowing her score, Khanh Linh still feels elated, mixed with a bit of regret. "I lost 0.25 points on a fairly easy Chemistry question due to a mistake in the calculation process. It's my favorite subject, so I feel very regretful!", Linh shared.
Born into an intellectual family, her father was a soldier working far from home, her mother was a Literature teacher at Quynh Nghia Secondary School, Khanh Linh grew up in the love and gentle guidance of her parents. Her family never imposed or put pressure on her to achieve, instead they encouraged, accompanied and trusted her.

Ms. Ho Thi Sen - Linh's mother - shared: "We raised our child gently, like any other normal family. She grew up in warmth, knowing how to love and take responsibility for her own choices. She has passion, a clear plan and is determined to pursue it."
Since grade 9, Linh has shown her outstanding ability when she was selected for both the Literature and Math teams of the school to participate in the district-level excellent student competition. Although studying at a coastal school far from the city center, Linh excelled in getting 20/20 points in Math, causing a stir in the whole district. After that, she was selected for the district team to compete in the provincial excellent student competition and won third prize.

That was the first turning point that ignited Linh's love for Mathematics - a passion that was kindled by her first teacher, Mr. Ho Minh Khai. In high school, Linh chose to study at Quynh Luu 3 High School - a school near her home - instead of applying to a specialized school. She was placed in class A1, headed by Mr. Tran Minh Vinh. "Linh is a quick-thinking student, very hard-working and always in good form. In the school's excellent student competition, she was valedictorian in all three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. She also won first prize in Mathematics at the provincial level with 17.63 points - second only to students from Phan Boi Chau Specialized School", Mr. Vinh commented.
A Learning Journey from a Grateful Heart and a Scientific Schedule
Not only is she a good student, Khanh Linh is also a lively, dynamic female student, always actively participating in extracurricular activities: being an MC, hosting programs for the school, participating in Science and Technology competitions, national Traffic Safety competitions... In her mother's eyes, Linh is "a girl who loves life, loves challenges, and can't sit still".
Khanh Linh's secret to achieving a near-perfect score in the high school exam does not come from cramming, but from a scientific, clear and flexible study plan. The female student said: "I always try to build a roadmap for each stage, with specific goals. Each day, I only study one subject so as not to be distracted. I set deadlines to complete each topic or each book. In the morning and afternoon, I solve 3 problems. In the evening, I review the lecture, correct mistakes and learn from experience."

What makes Linh special is her love for learning – she finds excitement in solving a difficult math problem or completing a tricky test. For Linh, learning is not about fear of getting bad grades or pressure to achieve results, but rather a journey of self -discovery and overcoming limits.
This year's exam, the Math section is considered highly differentiated. Linh said: "It took me nearly an hour to complete the part of the test that guaranteed me 9.5 points. After I was sure of that result, I spent time on the last question about probability - a question that I found very difficult, but also very interesting."
As soon as she received her exam results, Khanh Linh wrote a small letter on her personal page, sending her thanks to Quynh Luu 3 High School, the place that gave wings to her dreams; to her teachers - the ones who inspired her through each lesson; to her family - the warm place to return to after each stressful study hour; and to her friends - the ones who have accompanied her through her colorful youth.
With a score of 29.75, Khanh Linh is facing many opportunities to choose from. She is hesitating between Foreign Trade University and Hanoi National University of Education - each place has its own appeal, its own direction for the future. But no matter which path she chooses, Khanh Linh believes that gratitude, will and passion will be the guiding light, the motivation for her to continue to shine on the journey ahead.
