Fire breaks out in a mini-apartment building in Da Nang; many people rescued.

According to initial information, at approximately 7:30 PM on October 18th, a fire broke out in a 7-story apartment building (a mini-apartment complex) located on Lam Hoanh Street, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City.

At that moment, residents noticed fire and thick smoke rising from the first floor of the building, so they shouted for help to put out the fire.

Authorities used a ladder truck to rescue the trapped person.

However, due to the thick smoke, people were unable to reach the fire to use fire extinguishers and had to call the Fire and Rescue Service.

At this time, many people on the upper floors were unable to escape and were trapped inside the building. Many had to run to the windows to signal for help. Meanwhile, some people tried to climb onto the roof of the adjacent building to ensure their safety while waiting for rescue forces.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police of Da Nang City mobilized vehicles and personnel from many units to participate in extinguishing the fire, including ladder trucks to rescue many people trapped on the upper floors.

Fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters divided into multiple teams to extinguish the blaze, while simultaneously using ladder trucks approximately 50 meters high to reach and rescue those trapped on the upper floors in a timely manner.

Fortunately, the fire was extinguished later and those trapped were rescued safely.

The incident is currently under investigation.
