Electric pole catches fire in An Tuong ward.

At approximately 4 PM on October 5th, in Group 13, An Tuong Ward (behind the An Tuong Ward People's Committee), an electric pole suddenly caught fire.

Electricity company officials promptly arrived to inspect and fix the problem.

According to observations at the scene, the utility pole had 18 electricity meters attached, supplying power to households living nearby. The initial cause was determined to be a short circuit in the meter area, causing sparks and leading to the fire. No one was near the pole at the time of the incident, so there were no casualties. However, the fire caused a temporary power outage for some households in the area.

The electricity meter was completely burned out.

Immediately after the incident occurred, authorities and power company officials quickly arrived at the scene to inspect, handle the problem, and ensure safety. The power company is developing a plan to rectify the situation and restore electricity to the people as soon as possible.
