Accordingly, at around 9:00 a.m. on April 26, a car with license plate 29F-059.95 carrying 17 people traveling from Tam Dao town down the mountain suddenly overturned at Km19+250 on Tam Dao pass. The accident killed 3 people and injured 14 others who were taken to the emergency room. Immediately after receiving the news, Vinh Phuc provincial authorities were present to direct traffic and provide first aid to the victims.
Upon receiving information about the accident and instructions from the Minister of Health , Viet Duc Hospital immediately dispatched an external emergency team with leading experts in anesthesia - resuscitation, trauma, digestion, and specialized equipment to Vinh Phuc to support emergency care and care for the victims.
At Vinh Phuc General Hospital, doctors from Viet Duc Hospital directly participated in interdisciplinary consultations, clinical examinations, quickly assessed the extent of injuries and prescribed appropriate emergency treatment options for each case.
The quick and professional treatment during the "golden hour" has contributed significantly to saving the lives and preserving maximum function for the seriously injured victims. Among the injured victims, there were 3 serious cases that were urgently transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for further intensive treatment.
