On the afternoon of May 31st, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a representative from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Department 6 - Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) stated that a tractor-trailer fire had just occurred on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway (the section passing through Khanh Hoa province).

At approximately 11:00 AM on the same day, a tractor-trailer carrying concrete materials suddenly burst into flames at kilometer 35 on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway, heading from South to North (from Cam Ranh to Nha Trang).

The driver pulled the tractor-trailer into the right lane and tried to extinguish the fire on the spot, but without success; the flames then engulfed the entire front of the vehicle.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa province dispatched two fire trucks along with officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The fire caused no casualties, but the front of the tractor-trailer was completely destroyed, and traffic in the area was temporarily congested.

Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 is directing traffic and coordinating with relevant units to investigate the cause of the incident.
