The Tax Department of Region XI (including 3 provinces: Ha Tinh , Quang Binh, Quang Tri) has just announced the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems to upgrade the information technology system to meet the requirements of arranging tax agencies according to the 2-level local government model.
Accordingly, from 6:00 p.m. on June 27 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1, the Tax Department of Region XI will temporarily suspend a number of electronic tax systems to serve the upgrading and conversion to the 2-level government model, including: The Tax Department's Electronic Information Page System (website); Application for Managing Tax Procedure Services (THI); E-commerce portal for information provision platforms; Electronic information portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce and digital business; Electronic Tax Application (eTax); Electronic Tax Application for individuals (iCanhan); eTaxMobile Application; Information portal for information exchange with external units and organizations (DataHub/GIP/T2B); Internal management system of the tax sector (including the electronic invoice subsystem for tax officers).
In addition, from 0:00 to 3:00 on July 1, 2025, the Tax Department of Region XI will temporarily suspend the application of electronic invoices for taxpayers. However, the electronic information portal for foreign suppliers will still operate normally.
During the suspension period, the system will be interrupted; the progress of settlement and return of results may be delayed. The tax authority sincerely apologizes and hopes to receive the understanding of taxpayers. However, during the process of upgrading and converting applications, the tax authority will continue to receive and resolve tax administrative procedures directly at the one-stop department and by post.
