Regional Tax Department XVI: Strengthening penalties for late submission of tax declarations

According to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration, enterprises are obliged to declare and pay taxes as prescribed within a specific time limit. Up to now, the Tax Department of Region XVI has issued 425 decisions on penalties for late submission of tax declarations, including 53 cases of warnings and 372 decisions on fines with the amount of over VND 3,118 billion. Currently, the Tax Department of Region XVI has issued 151,380 tax debt notices, with the amount of tax debt through the notices being about VND 2,825 billion.
