The latest directive from the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the sale of E10 gasoline.

E10 gasoline will be widely available nationwide from June 1st. Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires gasoline businesses to ensure the supply of this bio-gasoline, absolutely without interruption.

The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) has just issued a document requesting petroleum trading companies, petroleum production companies, and petroleum distribution companies to ensure the supply of biofuels from June 1st.

The official document states that, in accordance with Circular No. 50 dated November 7, 2025, issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade, which stipulates the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requests that petroleum businesses strictly adhere to this roadmap.

Accordingly, from June 1st, unleaded gasoline must be blended into E10 gasoline for use in gasoline engines nationwide; and the blending of E5 RON92 gasoline will continue until December 31st, 2030.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has requested that petroleum producers and distributors ensure a sufficient supply of base gasoline, accelerate the blending and mixing of E5 and E10 bioethanol, and promptly supply the agreed-upon production volumes as scheduled with petroleum trading distributors.

Wholesale and retail petroleum traders need to proactively blend, mix, and purchase E5 and E10 gasoline from traders with biofuel blending facilities and wholesale traders to ensure sufficient supply for the distribution system.

At the same time, relevant units need to direct and coordinate with their affiliated distribution systems, franchisees, and retail gasoline dealers to fully prepare the necessary facilities and be ready to distribute E5 and E10 gasoline from June 1st.

Wholesale and distribution businesses of petroleum products are also required to closely monitor the consumption of biofuels in the market. In case of difficulties or obstacles, the units must promptly report to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development for consideration and handling, ensuring that the supply of E5 and E10 gasoline is not interrupted under any circumstances.
