The Central Press Agencies Association in Thanh Hoa won the 6th Thanh Hoa Journalists Football Tournament.

Taking place from June 16 to 18, with more than 100 athletes from 5 teams participating in the tournament including: Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television Station, Central Press Agency Association in Thanh Hoa, Joint force of Department of Information and Communications - Provincial Party Committee Office - Provincial People's Committee Office and Thanh Hoa Journalists Club in Hanoi, it brought attractive and fierce matches with many goals and surprises.

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to the Central Press Association in Thanh Hoa.

After 5 rounds of matches, the Central Press Agency Association team in Thanh Hoa won the championship with a record of 3 wins, 1 loss, and 9 points after 4 rounds. The Radio and Television Station team won the second place; the joint team of the Department of Information and Communications - Provincial Party Committee Office - Provincial People's Committee Office won the third place. The Thanh Hoa Newspaper team and the Thanh Hoa Journalists Club in Hanoi tied for fourth place.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded trophies, medals, and prizes to the champion, second-place and third-place teams, as well as individual prizes including: Best Player, Player with the most goals in the tournament.

The 6th Thanh Hoa Journalists Football Tournament - East Asia Cup 2023 is considered an annual playground on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This is also an opportunity for press agencies to strengthen the close relationship between the team of journalists in the province, at the same time promote the sports movement, improve health, better serve professional tasks and tasks on the cultural - ideological front.

This is also a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023). The success of this year's tournament will be an important basis for the Organizing Committee to continue to maintain and improve the quality of the playground for journalists in Thanh Hoa province.
