Visiting Chi Lang ward in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, we noticed a clear transformation of this mountainous urban area with its modern and well-maintained infrastructure, spacious roads, lighting system, and synchronized drainage system... This brought joy to the residents. Mr. Nguyen Tan Tai, a resident of Chi Lang ward, said: "The upgraded Mac Dinh Chi road makes travel and transportation of goods easier and smoother for the people, and everyone is happy."

Along with Mac Dinh Chi Street, Chi Lang Ward has many completed and put into use urban infrastructure and urban beautification projects, including: the drainage system for Tan Long 2 Street; the urban traffic infrastructure project phase 1 - package 15: Le Thanh Ton Street and Mac Dinh Chi Street; and the project to build, renovate, and repair toilets and clean water facilities for schools. In addition, the ward is preparing to construct Huong Lo 11, with a total investment of 124 billion VND.

According to Le Ngoc Tan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Lang Ward, in recent times, the Party committees, authorities at all levels, and agencies and units assigned tasks in the ward have deeply understood the orientation and goals of comprehensive and sustainable urban development. These goals have been systematically concretized through resolutions, action programs, and detailed plans, widely implemented throughout the political system and among the people, creating a strong driving force for local development. This has fostered high levels of unity and consensus within the entire political system and the trust and support of the people. This is a crucial driving force for realizing the set goals and also an important foundation for Chi Lang Ward to continue improving urban criteria, gradually moving towards becoming an increasingly civilized, modern, friendly, harmonious, and sustainable urban area.

Along with infrastructure investment, Chi Lang ward focuses on urban beautification. Many important projects related to transportation, drainage, lighting, green spaces, and parks have been built, renovated, and upgraded synchronously within the ward, contributing to maintaining and improving urban quality, increasing attractiveness to tourists and investors, and promoting socio-economic development. Ms. Le Thi Hien, a resident of Chi Lang ward, said: “To date, the urban landscape has changed significantly. The environment is bright, green, clean, and beautiful; transportation is easy and convenient; and the lives of the people have improved.”
