CEP Chau Thanh Branch: Awarding scholarships to disadvantaged students before the new school year

(DTO) On August 20, CEP Microfinance Organization - Chau Thanh Branch (Dong Thap Province) held the 2025 CEP Scholarship Award Ceremony for children of customers who are students in difficult circumstances and have overcome difficulties to study well. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat, Deputy General Director of CEP Microfinance Organization; Comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, Chairwoman of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation.

Comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, President of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, presented scholarships to disadvantaged students.

At the ceremony, CEP Chau Thanh Branch awarded 50 scholarships with a total value of more than 110 million VND to students from grade 1 to grade 11 (valued from 1.5 million VND to 2.5 million VND/scholarship); awarded 97 study gifts, with a total value of more than 48 million VND (500 thousand VND/scholarship); awarded 2 gifts to new students, with a total value of 8 million VND.

The program aims to support and empower students who are children of CEP customers in difficult circumstances, contributing to reducing the financial burden at the beginning of the new school year.

According to CEP Microfinance Organization, the CEP program "Sharing love - Together with workers and laborers to prevent "black credit" in 2025 is expected to spend 10.4 billion VND through specific programs such as: CEP scholarships, CEP roofs, medical treatment support, support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and some other programs.

In particular, the CEP Scholarship Program is organized with a total budget of 7.9 billion VND, with 2,561 CEP scholarships and more than 4,400 study gifts, which will be awarded to students and new students who are children and grandchildren of customers with difficult circumstances and high risk of dropping out of school, studying at general education institutions, vocational education institutions, and universities.
