At most screenings, the audience wore red flags with yellow stars and sang the songs in the film. Especially during the National Anthem, the audience stood at attention, put their hands on their hearts and sang along to the National Anthem in the rhythm of the march of the soldiers of the 1st Army Officer School, who represented the Vietnam People's Army in the parade at Red Square (Moscow, Russia).
Notably, all profits from the film's ticket sales were transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , contributing to sharing with people in flood-affected areas.
