Mutual assistance and support in the struggle for national liberation as well as symbols such as the Morocco Gate in Vietnam and the Vietnam Gate in Morocco are precious legacies of the two peoples.

The Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman also suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in the fields of finance and banking, build a transparent and effective payment mechanism to minimize risks in international payments; and asked Morocco to share its experience with Vietnam in developing international financial centers. The two sides agreed to encourage two-way investment in sectors such as high-tech agriculture, renewable energy, food processing, and establish transparent information channels on market demand and trade policies to support businesses of the two countries in accessing business opportunities.

Regarding parliamentary cooperation, the two sides agreed to closely coordinate at multilateral forums, such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Parliamentary Union, promote exchanges between young parliamentarians and female parliamentarians, and periodically organize forums and workshops to share visions and build long-term cooperation initiatives.

The two sides also agreed to increase the exchange of high-level delegations, promote dialogue, exchange legislative experiences, build a legal framework in digital transformation, respond to climate change and develop a green economy, promote parliamentary diplomacy to connect cooperation between ministries, sectors and businesses; effectively implement existing cooperation mechanisms, promote cooperation and share experiences in areas of strength such as industrialization, energy transition, education, health, reform, innovation in thinking towards sustainable development, etc.

The two sides discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, agreeing to promote the settlement of disputes by peaceful means, not using or threatening to use force on the basis of respect for international law and the United Nations Charter.
