U23 Vietnam is not afraid of Bung Karno Stadium

Speaking to the press on the afternoon of July 27, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac, representing U23 Vietnam, affirmed that the whole team is ready for the final match with host U23 Indonesia at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship.

The final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship between U23 Indonesia and U23 Vietnam will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at Bung Karno Stadium.

Before the final training session to prepare for the match, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac affirmed that the whole team is well prepared and in good spirits.

“U23 Vietnam will try our best to win. U23 Indonesia is a strong opponent. We have watched and analyzed them and will enter the field with the most determination and passion possible,” said the striker born in 2004.

When asked if he was afraid of the pressure from the audience at Indonesia's famous "fire pit" Bung Karno, Dinh Bac confidently said that the U23 Vietnam players had experience playing here when they were still U19.

"The whole team is determined to put aside all surrounding factors to bring glory to Vietnamese football," he said.

During the training sessions before the final, coach Kim Sang-sik focused on improving the team's finishing ability. The coaching staff encouraged the players to make the most of every opportunity they had.

Currently, the tournament organizers have not made any announcement about using VAR technology in this match.
