National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue informed King Maha Vajiralongkorn of the good results of the talks and meetings with the Speakers of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Prime Minister of Thailand, and the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the two parliaments. The National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that under the wise reign of the King, the National Assembly, the Government and the people of Thailand will continue to achieve greater achievements in national construction and development, and play an increasingly important role in the region and the world . The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to further strengthening the Enhanced Strategic Partnership with Thailand and hopes that the two countries will soon upgrade their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the near future.
The King of Thailand highly appreciated the significance of the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, emphasizing that Thailand and Vietnam are two close neighboring countries with long-standing relations, so it is necessary to continue to strengthen the relationship. King Maha Vajiralongkorn congratulated the good developments in the relationship between the two countries and congratulated the two National Assemblies on signing the Cooperation Agreement. The King recalled the good impressions of Vietnam during his visits in 1992 and 1997 as Crown Prince. The National Assembly Chairman announced that he would visit Udon Thani province and thanked Thailand for supporting the establishment of the first Vietnamese Street in Thailand and the world.
