Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee inspected the construction progress of temporary and dilapidated houses.

This afternoon, March 20, comrade Tran Nhat Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses inspected the construction progress of temporary and dilapidated houses in Cam Xuyen district and Ha Tinh city.

Comrade Tran Nhat Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the working delegation inspected the housing situation of poor households in Cam Xuyen district.

To implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, Cam Xuyen district and Ha Tinh city have focused on mobilizing all resources for implementation. In addition to the support from the province, localities have mobilized more social resources and promoted organizations, unions, and people to contribute working days to support the construction of houses for households.

Up to now, Cam Xuyen district has started construction of 67/262 houses ; Ha Tinh city has started construction of 42/177 houses for poor households, near-poor households and policy families; localities are striving to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area before May 19 in accordance with the province's direction.

Comrade Tran Nhat Tan gave instructions at a working session with local authorities on the progress of the housing support program for poor households.

Through surveying and checking the progress of building temporary and dilapidated houses in the two localities, comrade Tran Nhat Tan - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: The elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is a program with profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection, which is being vigorously implemented by Ha Tinh with the highest sense of responsibility for the lives of the people.

Conference at the People's Committee of Thach Hai commune on the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in accordance with the province's direction.

To complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses before May 19, comrade Tran Nhat Tan - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee requested: Cam Xuyen District and Ha Tinh City continue to mobilize the participation of the entire political system and the People, replicate good practices in joining hands and contributing to eliminating temporary houses. Regularly urge and speed up the progress of starting and building the remaining temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. Continue to mobilize forces from organizations, unions, agencies, and armed forces to support people in the process of building houses./
