The Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that during her term, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Gillian Bird will pay attention to and promote the establishment of RMIT University branch in Hai Phong; create conditions for international students of the city to have more opportunities to study and research in Australia; strengthen cooperation in training high-quality human resources in the fields of marine economy , logistics, tourism, etc. The city hopes that the Ambassador will pay attention to and promote investment and trade promotion activities, connecting the Australian business community to Hai Phong to seek cooperation and investment opportunities. In Hai Phong, Australia is implementing a vocational training cooperation program with the Vietnam Maritime College to train in the fields of logistics, maritime, etc. On that basis, the Ambassador hopes to continue to expand and promote people-to-people, cultural and tourism exchanges with Hai Phong city in the coming time.
