Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên29/11/2023

In the announcement of enrollment to study in China in 2024 under the agreement, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the Chinese government grants 77 scholarships for Vietnamese citizens to study for university, master's and doctoral degrees in this country.

Accordingly, the PhD scholarship program lasts 3-5 years, the master's program lasts 2-4 years, and the undergraduate program lasts 4-5 years. The Chinese government will waive tuition fees for the entire study period, provide accommodation, health insurance, study materials, and monthly scholarships according to the regulations of the Chinese government.

The Vietnamese government provides one-way and one-way air tickets, passport and visa fees, travel expenses and living allowances according to current regulations based on the level of support from China for Vietnamese students.

The condition for participating in the scholarship is that the candidate has not registered for any scholarship program to study abroad in 2024, and is committed to completing the training program and returning to serve at the sending agency or as required by the state.

In addition, the major that the candidate registers for must be consistent with the major he/she studied at university, master's degree and current job (list of majors at https://www.campuschina.org/).

The language used in study and research is Chinese or English. Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Have a valid HSK level 4 certificate or higher, or have a university or master's degree studied in China in Chinese (for those applying to study in Chinese).

Have a valid TOEFL ITP English certificate of 500 points or IELTS 5.5 or equivalent issued by a competent international agency or have a university or master's degree in English from abroad (for those applying to study in English).

In case the candidate does not have a foreign language, he/she can register to study in Chinese (arrange to study 1 year of Chinese language preparatory course in China) and must pass the Chinese language proficiency test organized by the Chinese government before entering the major.

In addition, each level of scholarship program has its own conditions. Candidates can see detailed information about the conditions of participation and how and when to apply here.
