In June, a 10-year-old boy died of sepsis at the National Children's Hospital after his family tried to treat his cough and fever by using a razor blade to cut his skin to remove toxins.
Doctors recommend that treating the disease by using a razor blade to squeeze or cut the blood is an unscientific , ineffective, and life-threatening method. Arbitrary treatment at home causes children to lose the opportunity to treat the disease during the golden time, and risks leaving complications.
It is necessary to consult a doctor before self-treating children. Do not use drugs of unknown origin or unscientific treatment methods that endanger the child's life. When detecting abnormal signs in children, take the child to a specialized medical facility for timely examination and treatment.
