According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the opening ceremony in 2025 will be very special. After that, the schools will connect online with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of Education and Training and the opening ceremony at the National Convention Center. After the ceremony, students will not immediately study cultural lessons, but will study skills education topics such as fire prevention, accident prevention, civilized and elegant lifestyle education, etc.

2025-2026 is the first school year in which the entire education sector will implement the new school year's tasks when implementing a two-level government. The city's Department of Education and Training requires schools to review all conditions regarding facilities, equipment, and human resources. Qualified units will teach two sessions per day according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. This school year also marks a major turning point when Hanoi for the first time supports boarding meals for primary school students with a total budget of more than 3,000 billion VND/year. It is estimated that about 768,000 primary school students at public and private schools (excluding foreign-invested schools) in Hanoi will benefit.

Schools prepare the necessary conditions to organize boarding meals for primary school students seriously, with quality and safety; ensure nutrition for comprehensive development.
