Accordingly, implementing Official Dispatch No. 39/CD-TTg dated April 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on ensuring traffic order and safety to serve people's travel needs during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the 2025 summer tourist peak; in order to prepare conditions to serve tourists, ensure security, safety, and improve the quality of tourism services during the April 30 - May 1 holiday in 2025 and the 2025 summer peak, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism requests the Department of Tourism; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and centrally run cities to well implement the following contents:
1. Proactively organize activities to serve tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holidays and the peak summer tourism season in 2025; improve product quality, introduce new tourism products to serve tourists. Continue to effectively implement Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth; Domestic tourism stimulus program in 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Vietnam - Travel to love".
2. Direct tourism businesses, management boards of tourist areas and destinations, and tourism service establishments in the area to strictly implement the legal regulations on tourism and related laws; proactively inspect and upgrade facilities and service processes, ensure security, safety, rescue, and quality of services for tourists; comply with regulations on fire prevention and fighting, ensure food safety and hygiene in tourism establishments; take measures to protect the tourism environment, collect and treat waste and waste in accordance with regulations; strictly implement regulations on registration, public price posting, and selling at the correct listed price for products and services serving the entertainment, shopping, sightseeing, experience, and culinary needs of tourists. (Service prices must be posted at the reception area, in a visible place, where guests can access before using the service) .
3. Strengthen inspection, examination, supervision, timely detection and strict handling of organizations and individuals who do not ensure tourism business conditions, tourism service quality standards; violations of tourism laws and related laws. Propaganda and raising awareness of tourists and tourism businesses in preventing and combating fraud in the online environment during the peak tourist season. Control the quality of tourism services in the area, especially travel services, accommodation, tourist transportation, tour guides, food and beverage and other tourism services at tourist areas, attractions and entertainment facilities.
4 . Coordinate with relevant authorities to provide guidance, traffic diversion, prevent accidents and congestion, and facilitate access to tourist areas and destinations. Direct tourist areas and destinations with water entertainment services to seriously implement solutions to ensure safety for tourists. Require tourism businesses to absolutely not use means that do not meet business conditions or ensure safety for tourists, especially cars and inland waterways...
5. Publicize the hotline numbers of local authorities to promptly receive and handle feedback from tourists, residents and businesses related to tourism activities; do not allow the dissemination of false information on social networks and the press that negatively affects the image of the tourism industry.
To promptly grasp the situation and evaluate the results of tourism activities during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism requests the Departments of Tourism Management of provinces and centrally-run cities to send reports. about the tourism situation during the holiday to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and update the data on the statistics page https://thongke.tourism.vn (quick report section), and send a soft copy to the Office of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration.
