On the morning of April 16, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to listen to and give opinions on the Plan to coordinate the organization of a live television bridge to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Thanh Hoa province. The live TV program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory is scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on May 5, 2024 at 5 locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Kon Tum province, Thanh Hoa province and Dien Bien province, of which Dien Bien will be the main location.
This is a program of great historical significance, contributing to the propaganda andeducation of the significance, stature and great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; expressing deep honor and gratitude to generations of Vietnamese people who sacrificed their blood and made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification; thereby contributing to arousing the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the will to fight and win of the Dien Bien Phu campaign, encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to strive and make efforts to build a developed, prosperous and happy country.

The plan to organize the TV Bridge Program in Thanh Hoa province is chaired by the Provincial Radio and Television Station, in coordination with functional units to develop detailed assignment of responsibilities to agencies, units, progress and implementation timeline.

Regarding the preparation of conditions at the Thanh Hoa bridge point, the Provincial Radio and Television Station is the focal point coordinating with the Entertainment Program Production Board (Vietnam Television) to carry out the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee according to the plan, participating in finding and introducing historical witnesses, consulting on content, artists, extras, and audiences participating in the program according to the specific requirements of the production unit.

At the same time, preside over the construction of the stage at Lam Son Square according to the drawings of Vietnam Television with a scale of 3,000 delegates and audiences; install sound, light, LED screen, props, equipment for stage installation and receive equipment transportation according to the program design as well as detailed requirements of the Entertainment Program Production Board (Vietnam Television) - the production unit...

Other units such as: Provincial Police are assigned to develop plans to ensure security and order; traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the focal point to coordinate with the Entertainment Program Production Board (Vietnam Television) to introduce historical witnesses, content consultants, artists, extras, and audiences participating in the program according to the specific requirements of the production unit; Department of Health directs affiliated units to have plans to ensure food hygiene and safety; deploy medical staff on duty during the live performance; Thanh Hoa Electricity develops a plan to provide grid power to the event area during the installation, construction of the stage, rehearsal as well as on the day of the program...
Based on the draft plan content as well as through the discussion of delegates at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan gave specific instructions to each unit and each task to ensure the event takes place solemnly, meaningfully and safely.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the Provincial Radio and Television Station should closely coordinate with Vietnam Television to prepare conditions and construct and install the stage in accordance with the theme and mock-up approved by the Central Propaganda Department and Vietnam Television. At the same time, he assigned specific tasks to the province's functional units regarding inviting historical witnesses to participate in the program; developing a plan to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting; food hygiene and safety, environmental sanitation before, during and after the event; mobilizing armed forces, union members, youth, students to participate in the program at the bridge point... He requested media agencies to step up propaganda work on the Live TV Bridge Program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory taking place in Thanh Hoa province to a large number of cadres, party members and people inside and outside the province.
