In recent years, members of the Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association have consistently received the Vietnam Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award.
Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Nhung, Director of IQ Development Co., Ltd., is known as a young female entrepreneur who started her business in the education sector. Determined to transform private education into a holistic environment for children's development, she successfully built a system of three preschools and expanded into life skills training and yoga. In 2024, Ms. Nhung was honored with the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award of Vietnam. Ms. Nhung shared: “Starting a business in the education sector requires perseverance and dedication to the profession. I want every child to learn in the best environment, where they can develop comprehensively both intellectually and physically.”
With the same determination to start a business in her hometown, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Minh Huong Group Joint Stock Company, chose the construction sector as her starting point. After 8 years of operation, her company has become a reputable brand in garden and swimming pool design and construction, creating regular jobs for over 100 employees and dozens of seasonal workers. Ms. Huong is also one of the three young entrepreneurs from Thanh Hoa who received the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award of Vietnam in 2023. Currently, Minh Huong Group Joint Stock Company is expanding into the fields of trade and beverages. Ms. Huong expressed: “After receiving the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award, I am very proud of what I and my company have strived to achieve. This is a great motivation for me and my colleagues to continue trying and expanding the scale of our business to many provinces and cities. In 2024, the company achieved good results with many projects in Hung Yen and other northern provinces and cities, creating more jobs for workers.”
The Vietnam Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award is given to entrepreneurs under 35 years old who are managing and operating businesses effectively, actively participating in social work, and contributing to community development. To date, Thanh Hoa has had 16 young entrepreneurs honored, contributing to affirming the achievements from persistent efforts, while encouraging the spirit of self-reliance and entrepreneurship among young people, spreading the inspiration for entrepreneurship throughout the province. Mr. Do Minh Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association, commented: “The fact that many young entrepreneurs from the province consistently rank among the top outstanding young entrepreneurs nationwide is a source of pride and inspiration for the youth of Thanh Hoa. This is also proof of the strong development of the young entrepreneur community and is one of the five key areas of activity of the association.”
In addition, the Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association has implemented many solutions to encourage and promote the entrepreneurial spirit among young people. The association focuses on supporting young entrepreneurs to continue developing, seeking and training the next generation, and attracting the attention of the whole society to the education, training, and development of young entrepreneurs. In particular, the association encourages the establishment of young entrepreneur clubs and youth economic development clubs in localities, thereby creating an environment for young entrepreneurs and young startups to meet, exchange information and experiences, and connect for production and business cooperation.
Besides their achievements in production and business, the young entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa have also left a strong mark with their social welfare activities. Billions of dong are mobilized each year to build charitable houses, award "Wings of Dreams" scholarships to poor but studious students, and sponsor orphaned children. These young entrepreneurs also actively participate in disaster relief efforts, organize fundraising football tournaments, and donate blood, contributing to spreading the spirit of "mutual support and compassion" within the community.
Currently, the Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association has nearly 400 members and affiliated clubs. The Association is implementing five strategic action programs: membership development, building the brand of young entrepreneurs, improving management capacity, promoting business networking, and strengthening social responsibility, with the goal of forming a generation of entrepreneurs who not only enrich themselves but also beautify society.
