Let's go all over Nha Trang!

One of the creative houses for artists from all over the country to come and create works is Nha Trang Creative House located on Pham Van Dong Street (Nha Trang City). It is a creative camp that artists have to travel a long distance from Lai Chau, Yen Bai , Cao Bang... to attend for the simple reason of just needing to get to Nha Trang, and Nha Trang is an endless source of inspiration. And once there, they rent motorbikes to go everywhere, so that every street corner, every road is a source of inspiration for poetry, music, painting, as poet Dang Vuong Hung wrote: "Nha Trang is at the end of the rainy season/It's been a long time since you reminded me of me and I missed each other".

People from far away places come to Nha Trang like that, they love each wave hitting the shore, love the fragrant mornings in Nha Trang, love the country roads with occasional fallen areca spathes, love the small banh can shop nestled on the side of the road selling to random customers. Nha Trang is not just the crossroads, the five-way intersections with green and red lights. Nha Trang is not just the gridded streets, not just the transition of heaven and earth in the blooming seasons, Nha Trang is not just the sea... Then, one day you have free time, take your car out of your house, go on roads you have never been on, only to realize that you do not know all of Nha Trang.

A tree-lined street in the seaside town.

For example, if someone asks you which road in Nha Trang is the longest? It is Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street extending to National Highway 1, Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, or October 23 Street, Vo Nguyen Giap Street... Usually when walking in the city, we often say that Yersin Street is the longest street, and if one day we turn into Ngoc Hiep area, we will see a long road about 4 - 5km long, winding through all spaces, which is Luong Dinh Cua Street. And suppose someone asks you which tree is grown the most in Nha Trang, you will answer bougainvillea, coconut tree and black star tree. Then you will discover that the most grown tree in Nha Trang is the coconut tree.

Nha Trang - that city changes color in autumn, the weather is cold, so the long-stored sweaters in the closet are brought out to beautify the streets. Nha Trang in October to November has sudden rains, luckily on the streets there are still porches to stop and take shelter from the rain. To have the pleasure of spreading your hands out to the rainy sky, watching the raindrops slip through your fingers and fall to the ground, blending with millions of raindrops falling into oblivion. It is Nha Trang from the days of kindergarten, then the days of primary school, until secondary school, high school and leaving to step into university. To linger there with a naive love, moved by a long hair, by a young girl's smile. To then go looking for a house, just to go looking because there is a person there.

Then we return to Nha Trang like the trains, though busy taking people away, in the end still return to the old station. At Nha Trang train station, it is not only entering the station to leave or to see off, but also hiding in it so many memories of life. Do you know why the road to the station has to run in an arc? So that people who are far away can still look back at the street, so that the train whistle sounds like a call of love, and sometimes the train whistle blends with the church bells to create a very strange sound.

One day, you may be walking on the street, someone will ask you the name of a street, you will be surprised, thinking to yourself that you have been in Nha Trang for so long but do not know where that street is. For example, Phung Khac Khoan street, Bach Thai Buoi street are only a few hundred meters but are known because they are called bougainvillea streets. Therefore, if you have a free day, take a trip to see all of Nha Trang.

Go all the way to Nha Trang, cross Binh Tan bridge, enter Hon Ro residential area, you will be surprised by the many jackfruit trees planted, many roads are so small that it feels like two houses facing each other can talk to each other just by sitting inside.

And the alleys in Nha Trang are also another world , escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, with a peaceful appearance. Phan Dinh Giot Street curves from Tran Quy Cap Street to the small bridge over Lu Cam River, where breakfast and lunch stalls squeeze in, a private space of the street. Than Nhan Trung Street with 12 ancient rosewood trees becomes a unique street, or the houses in Hon Xen are covered with beautiful flowers.

You can go to Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, try turning into the side streets, that is the private place of the rooms for rent, the road is sometimes shaky because of wind and rain. Or randomly go to the end of Vo Thi Sau street, continue to wrap around the mountain to see houses clinging to the cliff, the owners climb up and down ladders. You can smell the fish sauce because the households here mainly make a living by making fish sauce, see many banh xeo shops, stop to eat and feel the shrimp jumping banh xeo is very delicious...

Have we been to Nha Trang yet? Have we sat together on the banks of the Tac River? Have we squeezed into the small road at Nui Mot to continue on the roads up the mountain, the small and difficult roads of human fate.

Have we been to all of Nha Trang?
