- The new houses built with the support of the Tuyen Quang Police force not only help the poor settle down, but also clearly demonstrate the responsibility of carrying out political tasks, spreading the image of the Police officers close to the people, serving the people.

Implementing the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the 2021 - 2025 period, the Provincial Police Department was assigned to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 1,780 poor households in the province. Identifying this as a major policy with profound humanitarian significance, the Provincial Police Department's leaders have determinedly and resolutely directed units to implement it, requiring the entire force to be the core and main force in the implementation. Up to now, the Police Department has called for, received, and allocated over 70 billion VND from businesses and philanthropists to support poor households, policy families, and ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances to build and repair houses.

The Staff Department, Provincial Police Department connected and coordinated to provide funding to support the family of Ms. Truong Thi Lo, Dao ethnic group, Khuan En village, Hung Duc commune (Ham Yen) to build a new house.

In parallel, police officers and soldiers from units and localities actively contributed their salary and working days to directly participate in surveying, transporting materials, dismantling old houses, and helping poor households repair and build new houses. By the end of April, the provincial police had completed the repair and construction of 1,641 houses; the remaining 139 houses are striving to be completed before August 30.

The family of Ms. Mai Thuy Thanh, residential group 5, An Tuong ward (Tuyen Quang city) is in difficult circumstances, her house collapsed due to natural disasters and she had to live with someone else. Understanding the family's difficulties, the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police supported 50 million VND and the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee allocated 70 million VND to help the family have more resources to build a new house and overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Recently, the new house with an area of ​​50 m2 ensuring a hard foundation, hard roof, and hard walls and frames has been completed and put into use. Ms. Thanh shared: "The joint efforts of all levels, sectors, especially the Police force, helped realize the family's dream of having a new house to settle down and build a prosperous life".

In mid-May, the Staff Department, Provincial Police connected and coordinated with the 1980 Business Club to give 180 million VND to support 3 poor households in Hung Duc commune (Ham Yen) to build new houses. Previously, at the end of March, the Provincial Police coordinated with Thallo Distribution Joint Stock Company to hand over a house of gratitude to the family of Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Lung Luong village, Hong Quang commune (Lam Binh). This is a particularly poor household, Mr. Thanh is raising his elderly mother and 3 young children alone, 2 of whom have serious illnesses and have a dilapidated house. Through the work of grasping the situation at the grassroots level and understanding the difficulties of the family, the Provincial Police connected with businesses to support 100 million VND to build a 75 m2 level 4 house for Mr. Thanh's family. In the new house, Mr. Thanh expressed his emotions: “My family is extremely grateful. Thanks to this warm home, I will work hard to raise my children and take good care of my elderly mother, trying to escape poverty.”

According to Colonel Chu Quang Trung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police: The elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses is not only a humanitarian activity but also a political responsibility, clearly demonstrating the role of the police force in helping people settle down, contributing to stabilizing security and order, and maintaining the people's hearts. The movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" not only improves people's living conditions, but also contributes to the successful implementation of political tasks according to the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. Thereby, promoting sustainable poverty reduction, firmly consolidating the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

The new warm and affectionate houses built by the Tuyen Quang Police force help poor households settle down and strive to improve their lives. At the same time, this is also a clear demonstration of the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and constantly strengthening the close relationship between the Police force and the People.
