Join hands to support students during exam season.

Ahead of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, along with exam preparation and infrastructure preparation, many schools in Lam Dong province are reviewing each student's circumstances and connecting with others to ensure that no student has to abandon their dreams due to economic or transportation difficulties.

No disadvantaged students should miss the exam.

At Bui Thi Xuan High School (Mui Ne ward), where 345 12th-grade students and 9 independent candidates registered to take the exam, support measures were implemented early. Given the school's unique characteristics as a coastal school with many students from disadvantaged backgrounds, the school is determined to ensure that no student has to drop out of the exam due to financial difficulties or transportation problems.

Mr. Ta Hoang Anh, the school principal, said: “The school has carefully reviewed cases of students from poor and near-poor households, families receiving preferential treatment, and ethnic minority students to coordinate with the Parent-Teacher Association and local organizations to mobilize resources to support scholarships and travel expenses. For students who live far away or need to stay for lunch between the two exam sessions, the school has also prepared a resting area, drinking water, and volunteer support staff.”

Meanwhile, in remote areas like Le Quy Don High School (Tuy Duc commune), a list of 39 disadvantaged 12th-grade students has been compiled for support. The school has formed volunteer youth teams to regularly review cases requiring assistance with accommodation, housing, or transportation during the exam period.

Meanwhile, Dak Song High School (Duc An commune) has agreed with the Parent-Teacher Association to provide approximately 300,000 VND to each student from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school also mobilized benefactors to provide drinking water and milk for candidates during the exam days.

Besides the preparations by the education sector, the "Supporting Students During Exams" program continues to be a familiar source of support for many candidates and parents every exam season. Mr. Doan Minh Tam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: "Youth Union branches have proactively reviewed and compiled lists of cases needing support to provide timely assistance." Accordingly, at 91 exam locations throughout the province, volunteer youth teams will maintain "Support Stations" providing free drinking water, bread, stationery, and many other practical forms of assistance.

This year, familiar initiatives such as "Free Taxis," "Accompanying Students to Exams," and "Green-Shirted Motorbike Taxis - Carrying Pink Dreams" continue to be maintained. Each ride not only safely transports students to their exam locations but also carries words of encouragement and the care of the entire community for the younger generation.

To ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in the exam under the most favorable conditions, the education sector has coordinated with localities and relevant units to mobilize social resources to support the candidates with funding, transportation, accommodation, meals, and other essential needs.

Every act of sharing, however small, contributes to helping students become stronger on their journey to conquer the door to the future. When the entire community joins hands to support them, the High School Graduation Exam is not just a test for the students themselves, but also a beautiful story about social responsibility and companionship for the younger generation.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, the province currently has 1,769 candidates who need support, including students from disadvantaged backgrounds, students living far from examination centers, and students from ethnic minority communities.
