Special art program opens Lotus Village Festival 2025

On the evening of May 15, at Lang Sen Stadium, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An, the opening ceremony of Lang Sen Festival 2025 and the inauguration ceremony of the Statue "Uncle Ho Visits His Hometown" will take place.

The highlight of the opening ceremony is the art program with the theme "Monument in millions of hearts" which was elaborately staged, promising to bring the audience an artistic space imbued with sacred feelings for President Ho Chi Minh .

According to the Organizing Committee, many famous artists will participate in the opening program of this year's Sen Village Festival, such as singers: Trong Tan, Tung Duong, Tan Nhan, People's Artist Hong Luu, Meritorious Artist Que Thuong, Meritorious Artist Minh Thong, Meritorious Artist Minh Thanh, Ha Quynh Nhu... The singers will perform songs about Uncle Ho, his homeland, the country and Nghe An land. The touching stories and familiar images of President Ho Chi Minh will be vividly recreated through many singing and dancing performances, folk songs and dramas.

In addition to the participation of professional artists, the opening ceremony also had the participation of the People's Police Academy Drum Art Troupe, the People's Police Ceremonial Troupe and mass art forces, artisans of Nghe An province, along with hundreds of students of Nam Dan district, contributing to a night of celebration honoring national culture, expressing deep gratitude to the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people.

This year's 2025 Lotus Village Festival is on a national scale, an opportunity for compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to express their sacred feelings for Uncle Ho, while affirming the everlasting value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the spiritual life of the nation. In addition to the art program, immediately after the opening ceremony will be a brilliant 15-minute fireworks display. The opening program of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival and the inauguration ceremony of the "Uncle Ho Visits His Hometown" monument will be broadcast live on national television and Nghe An provincial television channel.

This year's Sen Village Festival takes place from May 9 to 19 to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) with many highlights and new, different activities. During the festival week, many attractive cultural and sports activities will be held such as: Flower offering ceremony in front of Uncle Ho's statue at Ho Chi Minh Square and flower and incense offering ceremony at Uncle Ho's memorial house and Chung Son Temple; Procession of Uncle Ho's portrait from Uncle Ho's memorial house at Kim Lien relic site to Sen Village Stadium; Inauguration ceremony of the statue "Uncle Ho returns to his hometown"; Inauguration ceremony of the 9-storey waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother; "Journey in Uncle Ho's footsteps - For the security of the Fatherland" race; Film week about Uncle Ho combined with exchanges with cinema artists and film crews who have portrayed Uncle Ho's image on screen...

On this occasion, from May 15 to 17, the Hanoi Department of Tourism organized a delegation to survey tourist attractions in Nghe An province; participate in a number of activities within the framework of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival; and organize a workshop to strengthen tourism links between Hanoi and Nghe An.
